NOS oil pressure remote sending unit tube assembly. For all 1969-70 Mercury Cougar Eliminators with G code Boss 302 engines, and 1969-70 Boss 302 Mustangs with oil pressure gauge.
The book says 'without tachometer'. Boss 302 forum suggests that it is for a remote oil pressure sending unit. According to a Boss 302 Engine Detailing article co-written by Marcus Anghel and Bob Perkins, this tube was needed for the larger bell shaped oil pressure sending unit. The larger bell shaped oil pressure sending unit was for the analog oil pressure gauge, instead of the idiot light.
Tube only, not sure if the brass fitting on the end is the adapter for the cylinder head or not. What you see in the picture is what you get. The overall length of the tube without extra brass fitting is right at 8 inches.
