This 1967-68 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang shield, was installed at the factory to protect the heater motor from being damaged when the Big Block 390-427-428's were being dropped in. As noted in the factory assembly manuals we sell, they were supposed to be removed once the motor was in place. Concours correct white striped heater hose for 1967 and early (prior to 2/1/1968) 1968 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. Durable white striping with no mention of "Autolite" - this particular hose did not come with that marking. Correct for all V-8 engines without air conditioning. The Cougars and Mustangs with air conditioning have a molded 90 degree elbow at one end. Some length trimming may be needed for a tight looking fit. Turn those hoses so that the white striping shows!

Textured plastic construction with typical ash tray and receptacle as found on the rear of the console. FoMoCo boxed with Ford part number C8WY-6504803-A. This polyurethane steering coupler repair kit for your tilt column, commonly referred to as a "rag joint", connects the steering shaft to the input shaft on the steering box. These differ from 68-69 in that there is no starter safety switch embedded in them. This is a used part, tested, lubed, and working. There is an active thread on the Classic Cougar Community Forum discussing tilt columns and trouble shooting.

Emergency flasher bezel for the side of the tilt steering column. Reproduction bezel in black. Replaces most all tilt swing steering columns from 1967-69. Replaces Ford part number C9AZ-15C80-A, and an earlier part number starting that was likely C7SZ-15C580-A.

Fixed steering column from a 1967 Mercury Cougar. Reasonably rust free column that ships as shown in picture. Often we will leave the turn signal switch in place, but you should count on it being non functional. This steering column will fit a Mustang, but you must change steering boxes. Most 1967 Mustangs came with the steering box with the long spear. Upper and lower mounting brackets, and rag joints are available, but sold separately.

This Mustang combination foam kit consists of a 1966 Mustang Pony Interior upper and a 1967 Mustang standard lower portion.
