This is a plastic cushion, washer and/or spring between the lower knuckle and inner tube on a 1968 - 1973 tilt-away steering column. Tested and working emergency or parking brake indicator switch. Foot parking brake switch found on 1971-73 Mercury Cougar and Mustang. This particular switch is also found on various other Ford/Mercury products starting in 1970. Ford part number D0AZ-15A851-A.Includes bolt to attach to emergency foot brake.

D1AZ-6788-A Metal tab that bolts to the intake manifold and has a hole for the round hose retaining ring (part number D2AZ-14A163-K). 1972-1973 all 351 engines, *Restoration Tip - These were painted Ford engine blue when the engines were painted, so paint it Dark Ford engine blue.

D2AZ-14A163-K Black plastic ring that barely fits over the PCV hose. Ring end locks into the D1AZ-6788-A hose bracket. Fits all 1972-73 351 engines, both 2V and 4V engines. This retaining ring came from Ford's electrical section.

This mirror nut for the 70 - 73 Cougar or Mustang is made from stainless steel, as compared to the other reproduction we offer which is made from die cast metal. A few benefits of the stainless steel nut is that the finish on it will not tarnish over time, and that it cannot be cross threaded.

Reproduction locking pawl for the 1970 - 1979 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang that is equipped with a factory tilt steering column. This unit works in conjunction with a pin and is responsible for locking the tilt column in place. In many cases, the pin tends to move out of place and break or chip the teeth of the locking pawl.
