Very Bright, easy to see in daylight and extremely visible at night. Installation is just as easy as changing a light bulb.
Worked as described. Very happy
Easy install. Look great. Hope they last a long time.
I recently purchased a rotisserie restored 1968 Mercury Cougar XR7 with less than 1000 miles. Beautiful car except they went cheap on the LED taillight bulbs and 2 out of the 3 times I went to town I was almost hit because the taillights were not bright. I did my research and found these at WCCC who is located North of where I live. They were not cheap but better than having my new "baby" rear ended. Easy to install and a perfect fit. It's recommended to purchase additional components for the Cougar's sequential turn signal function but I held off since this car was recently restored. I didn't need any additional components.
These lights are the best upgrade dollar for dollar you can do for your car. I installed them and Immediately got compliments from people riding behind me . If you don't install these in your classic car your doing yourself an injustice.
Works great. Converted my 69 over to the plasma LED using the plasma bulbs, sequential unit and flasher. What a difference! The turn signals now work the way I always wanted them to. And you can see them. Only took about 45 minutes to make the change. Had a guy follow me home about five miles to look at the car. The sequential turn signal with the plasma bulbs caught his attention.
these LED bulbs are delightfully heavy with a good feel and incredibly BRIGHT. I installed them in my 1967 Thunderbird (parked in garage), waited until evening, hit the brakes and my neighbors outdoor lights went off! Removed foot from pedal and their outdoor lights came back on. Just driving with the parking lights on it almost looks like your foot is on the brake, however when you do step on the brake there is NO Doubt that you are braking. I would recommend these for any classic car or any vehicle that uses a 1157 bulb.
Absolutely the best quality LEDs to use with the sequential tail lights. Tried other LEDs that usually burned out in a few days.
Tried these out for the tailights on my 68 Shelby as the standard incandescents were just not that bright. They were literally plug and play and the intensity of these bulbs is incredible. Probably the best thing you can do for your classic car safety-wise. My only issue is that the turn signals only flash the inner two bulbs when sequencing, so I'm going to need to try out a different flasher. Will probably try the digital flasher they sell first though...
Incredible bulbs, worth every penny. My '68 Cougar never looked better cruising down the road at night.
