At first, I tried putting only 3 in on one side to do a comparison. These lights don't like that. With 3 LEDs and 3 incandescents, I could only get hazards on the LED side. No running, brake, or turn signals. After a quick email. I was told they will act strange with an incandescent in the loop. So once I put in all 6, all works as advertised and I have correct functioning, amazingly bright tail lights now. The only thing that is still acting up is that my interior turn signal indicators now stay on constantly and I assume that is because the power draw is so much less, there isn't enough load to make the contacts break on the "clicker" to make them click.

WOW = What an improvement, looks great. Nice and bright as compared to the old bulbs.

A little pricey but you'll get past that when you see how they good look.

These bulbs are nice and bright and plugged right in with no hassle.

This should be the first thing that anyone does to their Cougar. Bright, low power draw, no heat, 2 minute install, couldn’t be happier.

Replaced my 1157 with these plasma LEDs. Before replacing please note: LEDs are more sensitive to a dirty connection than regular bulbs. Since LEDs draw less current, any extra resistance may keep them from working. The additional load drawn by the 1157 bulbs causes the current to push through the oxidation. If your connections are oxidized or just plain dirty, take a wire brush and clean them first before installing these beauties!.

These bulbs are a must if you value your ride, I've been rear ended by an un-insured driver in the UK and had to foot the repair bill myself. Don't be concerned about the cost of this product, it's better to pay this small amount than the scary option of repairing your ride, or God forbid totaling it!

Ordered this six pack of LED bulbs and received it very quickly. Excellent fit & super bright. They look great. Thanks for the excellent product Don and WCCC staff.

Installed $239 of Sequential LED boards in my son's 68 cougar. Not even on the road yet from the restore and one of the boards failed - got to looking close at them, cold solder joints and one of the resistors is already turned colors on the outer boards.

Instead of using those (which I was very happy with when I installed), I went out on a limb and purchased all new 1156 & 1157 sockets & rewired the rear tail lights to accept the new 1157 Plasma LED's from WCCC.

Would have given them a 5 star rating but 1 of 6 is bad out of the packaging (top wasn't sealed to base so turned when I went to install - dropped an email earlier to WCCC to see if they will replace under warranty).

Lights look good, even better than the LED boards I previously installed and the great thing is - can get replacements anywhere if needed in a pinch (unlike the LED board).

Just a little disappointed that a $10 bulb is bad out of the package, not the worst thing that has happened on this project but just adds to the list of stuff that didn't quite go as planned.
