Used resistance wire for the under dash harness from the tachometer through the firewall for the Mercury Cougar XR7.

Used tachometer resistance wire for all 1971-73 Mercury Cougar XR7's and those that wish to add a factory tachometer to your standard instrument cluster. This wiring segment was removed from the main under dash harness of a 1971-73 Mercury Cougar XR7. No wires to splice. This wiring segment includes the plug to the tachometer, lead to the fuse block, and to pins, one goes to the ignition switch, the other goes to the 'thru the firewalll plug'.

Used rear retainer for the ignition lock cylinder on any 1967-68 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Good value, used as they come out of the cars, will have some flash rust since they were never plated or painted, usually it will not come with the small screw. This unit locates and maintains the angle to the dash from behind. Angled cup or retainer, used with the wiper switch, it locates and maintains the angle to the dash from behind. 1969 and 1970 are different, obvious when you realize that the flat spot is indexed differently between the two years. Ford part numbers: DOZZ-17C491-A, D0ZB-17C491-A.

If your original is pitted or has come apart this will easily snap in place to remedy the problem. The finish on the repro differs a little from original.

Used roof mounted switch that is rather delicate. As you can see from the pictures, the chrome coating has started to peel slightly. 

These small rubber protectors slip over the metal tabs in the trunk that hold the taillight wiring loom to the body. They protect the wiring from abrasion, and are often missing. Sold individually.

Plastic shield, for protecting the power window door switches on some 1969-1970 Mercury Cougars. We don't see them on every car with power windows, but they do exist, and fit either driver or passenger side doors. Limited stock. Replaces Ford part number C9WB-14A099-A and D0WB-14A099-A.

Used windshield wiper motor cover or shield as Ford called it. Very prone to cracking and 'chalky' from age or UV light. We are not going to lie, most of these will have paint over spray or a slight amount of chalkiness. We haven't found a Ford part number other than the basic number of 17C441 which is labeled as "Shield - (Windshield Wiper Motor - Water)" as found in the Mercury MPC.

Attaches to the console shifter bezel on any 1967-68 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. We occasionally have these available when we get broken console bezels. This shifter dial was originally attached with heat to a pin connector. To reattach we suggest using glue. These look like it would be easy to detail the white letters for P R N D 2 1 with a careful hand. May have a chipped corner that is not seen when installed.
