There is not a special part number for this mounting bracket that was originally spot welded to the front of the headlamp switch. We offer these for use with our reproduction headlamp switch. This adapter or retainer is needed to correctly keep the headlamp switch at the correct angle to the lower metal dash. 1967-68 Mercury Cougar.

These plastic mounting brackets came in black or gray. These kinds of minor differences can often be attributed to different suppliers. We have many that still retain the LH & RH decal for those of you trying to obtain a show car level in your restoration. The backside of this bezel will be marked LH - TOP.D0MB-15A470-B

This retainer is found on the backside of the door panel and is held in place by two screws. Screws that hold plate on may be available upon request for an additional fee.

Used brake switch plug end, the one that plugs into the brake pedal switch for the brake lights. These often times get hot and partially melt. Easy to change, no cutting or splicing of wires. The female spade plug end just releases from the plug end, look for the release tab for beside the wire on the back.
