This is a metal "C" channel that glues to the bottom center of the glued-in door glass on 1969 and early 1970 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustangs. This channel, helps protect the glass when lowered to the rubber stop at the bottom of the door.

    Ford part # C9ZZ-214A16-A.

*HINT* Use the same professional grade of glass adhesive that you use for bonding the door glass to the two glass mounting brackets.
