The convex mirror is great. This along with the install video equals a great transaction.

Make sure you buy the mounting kit.

This mirror is as near-perfect as it can be in every way. It's actually much more useful than I expected even though it's small by today's standards. The video is also great. I went ahead and used the cheap gasket thinking maybe I'll replace it later but it really doesn't look bad once installed. Thanks you guys for another better-than-original repro part.

Looks like it was suppose to be there. Easy to install and not to difficult to adjust, even by myself.

Beautiful RH mirror for my 68 XR7. Only downside is now I need to replace my original left hand pitted remote mirror to match the shine from this new one.

I put it on and you'd never know it isn't original. One tip: use metallic hardware rivets to mount it. The rubber ones are real tricky to deal with. That's the only thing I'd change.



I mounted the mirror so the line of sight from the driver's seat was the same but the actual position is very slightly behind where the driver's mirror is located. They look the same from inside the car.



If dragons or thunder birds flying directly overhead get offended, so what?



No adjustment was necessary aside from choosing where to put it but I did have to turn the lense almost to the limit. Once you get it aimed, the car is 1000% more fun to drive!!



It's also easier to pull into the garage without having to get out and look just to make sure. Despite the magnification, the viewing area is still small by modern standards, more like motorcycle mirrors. That's really all you need however and makes a world of difference.



I can't wait to see what people think of the objects are closer then they appear thing when a non cougar owner notices that!!

My '67 Cougar had a "cheesy" aftermarket mirror on the passenger side. This mirror is a great factory looking mirror that I used to replace the old one. The quality and craftsmanship are superb!

Not original to the vehicle, but mirror looks great and matches drivers side. Much easier than craning my neck to view passenger side. Installation was straight forward using a 1/4" drill bit, mounting kit (26213) and installation tool (10665), watch the video first. More than what I wanted to pay, but it is what the cougar should have had all along. For the price they should include the install tool and mounting kit. I found that the gasket that came with the mirror was a bit oversized, but it looks fine to me.

Happy with the purchase...nice quality and fitment. Was easy to install after watching the video, although I primed/painted the cut hole. The mirror came with the Scott Drake base pad, so there wasn't a need to purchase one.
