This bulb does not fit the 1969 Cougar XR7 courtesy light. The courtesy light has 2 small bulbs, similar to the ones that fit in the clock. WCCC Response: These bulbs should fit the Door Courtesy lights for a 69-70. The 67-68 used bulb 1816 for the door courtesy lights, but in 69 they switched to a 212 bulb. This bulb is the replacement for the 212 bulb.

Big suggestion make sure you get all the LEDs you need to get for your cougar when you take the dashboard out so you can put them all in and one removal of dashboard.... lesson learned
