This bulb does not fit the 1969 Cougar XR7 courtesy light. The courtesy light has 2 small bulbs, similar to the ones that fit in the clock.

WCCC Response:

These bulbs should fit the Door Courtesy lights for a 69-70. The 67-68 used bulb 1816 for the door courtesy lights, but in 69 they switched to a 212 bulb. This bulb is the replacement for the 212 bulb.
