Great product! Fit like a glove and was easy to install. Helps cut down the sound from the trunk area. I would recommend this to any person that drives their Cougar on a regular basis as the two diagonal supports in that area are just not enough for durability and the original cardboard divider does nothing but block the view of the rear seat.

I purchased the divider for my 67 cougar. I painted it satin black before I installed it. The install was a breeze, I layed it in, had to fix the cross beams because mine were broken just like in the video. Screwed it down and was done. Very easy. I immediately could hear and feel the difference. The noise level was reduced significantly and the car felt stiffer just backing out the driveway. I'm very happy with my purchase and recommend it to anyone with a cougar. I also purchased the export brace and paired with that my car feels so much more tight and balanced. Got it in yesterday and was surprised with the metal thickness. It is heavy duty and will for sure provide protection and noise reduction. I will also be using it to mount the woofers in. Provided a great base for noise suppressing insulation as well
