Mirror i received back for m 67 looks and fit perfect back my original frame! Great to have a nice clear rear-view mirror again! Removal was easy, just took my time peeling back the rubber frame and the replacement while a little tougher around the curve of the end was also no problem. Just be patient and not in a hurry.
Heads up, new silvering DOES NOT like water or any moisture. Video and web site have a number of contradictions. Ok to soak the frame in hot water for the removal but heat the frame for installation by other methods. I actually put mine in the oven on a baking sheet. Preheat to 200 degrees, shut off and wait 10 minutes. put the frame in the warmed oven for 5 minutes. EZ PEEZY. Oh, and no glue or silicon is necessary. Looks factory fresh!
Simply put not very impressed the first mirror I received had two chips on the sides and the silvering is poor. Called Don and he sent me another one the glass looked good but once again the silvering is very poor there there are spots in the glass that can't be cleaned off it is under the silvering also there are black spots where they brushed the silver on and it didn't coat all of the glass
