    2 Cougar Applications

    Description

Reproduction A/C evaporator for the later production 1969 - 1970 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. This later version of the evaporator has inlet and outlet tubes that run diagonally of the core as opposed to the early version where the tubes run horizontally.
*Note - We have had numerous customers complain that these don't fit exactly like the originals.

As far as evaporators go, we highly suggest going with a good used evaporator over these new versions. What happens is this: These companies use more coils (35% more passes) which equals out to thinner metal, which also equals out to performance that's sub-par to a good used original evaporator.

Check out our video below on how to replace a heater core and A/C evaporator! We used a '69 Cougar, but many of the same concepts apply to other years.
