    Description

    Please Note:

Many used items in our picture(s) have been cleaned and/or bead blasted prior to being photographed to show condition and detail. The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned. We do not retake pictures each time a used item sells. Pictures are a good indicator of what you will receive, but not all used parts age the same. On high dollar parts, email us and we can send a few pictures of the actual part available.

"Core" Items: If we use the word "Core" in the title of the product, the item has been deemed rebuildable, but has not been rebuilt.  The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned.

    Pros:
    • Quality original part
    Cons:
    • Will need to be cleaned up
This is one of those cases where the original Ford part is far superior to anything else. Like another reviewer, I tried the reproduction springs and was very disappointed, they stretched out over a few months and barely held up the hood. As soon as I threw those away and put some originals back on, the diffrence was dramatic. They are strong enough to hold the hood all the way up, just as Ford intended. Get these!

    Pros:
    Cons:
Going with these, over reproduction, is definitely the way to go. Reproduction ones I tried, would not hold the hood open. Got these used ones from WCC, and they are excellent. No more guillotine effect, while looking under the hood, ha ha.

Why am I being warned about potential exposure to chemicals in motor vehicle parts?

    • Some chemicals in motor vehicle parts are on the Proposition 65 list because they can cause cancer and/or birth defects or other reproductive harm.
    • When purchasing USED or NOS items, we do not know if listed chemicals are present in these products.
    • This product is known to contain the following listed chemicals: None
I have been a cougar owner for just shy of 30 years, I have been dealing with part problems for a very long time. The people at WCCC have always be honest, and overly helpfull. I now have a 1970 XR-7 mostly rebuilt, and my son has a 1968 base...
