    Pros:
    • Nice material
    Cons:
    • Too long

This weather strip is about 2 inches too long. That becomes a problem when putting the weather strip on because both ends are screwed into fixed locations on the door. Best start gluing from both ends and work your way towards the middle. Try to lose the slack on the bottom of the door or you may have to cut it and trim an inch off in the middle. If you work from one end to the other you will have to cut it where visible. It would be better that the weather strip be made shorter and put on tighter.

    WCCC Response:

We asked the manufacturer about this, and here was their response:

We have sold a lot of them to CJ's and NPD and no other reports of this, but I will have our staff check a pair. When rubber extrusion is new it shrinks about 5% in the first 2 months and continues to shrink slowly over time. That's why NOS weatherstrips are sometimes 4 or 5" short. We usually run at least 3-4 years supply so we usually leave them exact fit to allow for some shrinkage. One of our requirements around here is to allow new extrusion to sit for 1 month before we use it in production.

    • When purchasing USED or NOS items, we do not know if listed chemicals are present in these products.
    • This product is known to contain the following listed chemicals: None
<p>I have enjoyed dealing with Don and his group for years and now that I own more cougars the need is greater than ever. I look forward to their videos and easier ways to assemble they have been most helpful. I can navigate there catalog...
