This desirable option was used only on the driver side seat of the LATE 71-73 Cougar and Mustang. This is for seats that have the seat release knobs on the outsides of the seats. This "D" clip is larger than that found on the Mustangs and 1967 Cougar because it not only hung the wiring loom on the driver side of your engine compartment but also the vacuum lines going to the headlight switch. This clip is also found under the starter solenoid and under dash.

Grade "A" doors have never been dented in, cracked in the door latch area or rusted in the corners under the weatherstrip. This driver side moulding is correct for convertible. On convertibles the top portion is trimmed to allow it to slide under the sun visor bracket. The engineering number imprinted on the back is D1ZB-6503599 for 1971-1972 and D3ZB-6503599 for 1973. Convertibles show the same casting numbers on the part, but are a modified before assembly. This is the "Chrome" trim across the top of the windshield on the inside. This piece will need to be sandblasted and repainted. Many people have chromed these, but because of Federal safety regulations from the factory they were painted satin silver.Ford Part Number: D1ZZ-7603606-A.

This pair of reproduction convertible top hooks are beautifully chrome plated and features correct thread size. Looks close to original. These hooks are actually for 71 - 73 Cougars and Mustangs, but will work just fine on the 69 - 70.

C5ZZ-7610962-A Ford description of this plate is "Plate - Front floor lower cross member". All 1967-73 Cougar convertibles and all 1965-73 Ford Mustang convertibles use this plate. Bolts into place with 6 hex bolts 3/8-16 x 1-1/8" with washers. These were painted satin black from the factory. As you look at our picture below you will see the repro is about half the thickness. The repro is different in every detail but will work. We also have used plates with minor damage at a reduced cost.

Ford part number D2AZ-9A603-D (outer section) and Ford part number D2AZ-9A603-C (inner section) make up this two piece shroud for the 1972 - 1973 Q code 351-4V engine. This inner shield conforms to the 351-4V cast iron exhaust manifold only and the outer portion fits both the 2V and 4V.

Ford part number D2AZ-9A603-D (outer section) and D2AZ-9A603-B (inner section) make up this two piece metal shroud for all 1972 - 1973 H code 351-2V engines. The outer shield section is common to both 2V and 4V 1972 - 1973 351c engines but the inner is unique to the 2V.
