They seem so simple in appearance but they do indeed work. My 67 had cracks in its lifetime and started to develop some new ones on the drivers side. I had them all repaired and added these plates along with the export brace. I tell you what, my 67 has never felt so good when driving down the road. My first reaction what...'Ahhh, THATS how this car is supposed to drive!'
Fit great when I got them. Just clean up shock tower/ frame area where they weld in and repainted if needed. I painted back side before welding them in. Then weld them in, clean up your welds and use some seam sealed if you want. Then the area is easy to paint and hit the road.
