I used these to replace the originals on our '69 Eliminator. Why? On the original seats, one was a hard shell that was degraded due to sun exposure and the other was a soft vinyl wrapped on a Masonite style board. So they never matched and were coming apart.

I found these to be very accurate to the hard shell and the color match was spot on. After installation, the fit and appearance was perfect. However, in order to get the clips to attach, the mounting points on the back of the shell had to be modified (ground down) with a Dremmel. It took several attempts to get them to fit perfectly and it took about 2 hours to fit, grind, re-fit, re-grind, etc. However, it was worth the effort.

Note, we only used the clips on the bottom and sides. Even w/o the top clips, they are tight to the seat w/o any gaps or spacing issues. Due to the pillowed top of the Eliminator seat, I also did not want to force the back too tightly to the frame ... so these were left off w/o issue.

Very good
