This plate looks exactly like the original, but sans dents and not falling off. It was strangely hard to remove from the vacuum-sealed plastic packaging. Be careful not to bend or dent yours when you remove it! These are soft aluminum (exactly like the original). I had to use a sharp knife and a small pointy Philips head screwdriver to peel up the well-adhered clear covering from the cardboard backing. If you aren't careful, any hard metal object will readily scratch or mar the plate. I used Gorilla spray-on adhesive on the back of my plate to stick it on the shift bezel. Don't use too much or you'll never be able to clean out the goo around the shift select PRND21 lenses.
This aluminum plate was a bit thicker than mine (assumed original) but since only the top is seen no one would know the difference. The part fit perfectly and looks great.
Completes look, well enough made. All is good
