Went in perfectly. Also put upper control arms spring perches in bought from WCCC. Haven't driven the car yet but optimistic that it will drive great after an alignment is done!
This arm had only 2 holes, rather than the 4 it had last time, necessitating drilling an additional hole for the drag link. Ball joint only lasted 6000 miles on the last one.
I called to make sure this would fit my 67 without any modifications. Once I got I tore apart my front end and guess what it did not fit. I needed to drill a hole where the sway bar (Ithink its called a sway bar), fits. And guess what, Its on a spot thats spot welded sooooo. I got but, damn, not what I expected. Everything I've ever purchased from WCCC has been perfect. So I guess Oh well.
Definitely a step up from my rusty old originals. I wasn't worried about being concours correct, but these just look nicer and seem to be higher quality (and don't cost much more) than the other ones. These seem very well made and fit my '68 Cougar perfectly. I had no problems fitting my front sway bar, or brake spindles, or strut rods. I used these lower arms in conjunction with the new "concours" uppers, which are also excellent. No complaints here!
