Cons:
  • fit could be better.
I was happy with this clutch rod boot overall. I gave it 3 out of five for fit because it doesn't snap in to the firewall very tight. The material it is made from seems thinner and less durable then the original stock one was. But overall a decent replacement.

Looks good so far

Pros:
  • Should do the job
  • Looks better then what I had
Cons:
  • Tight fit
My original seal was completely gone except for the ring in the firewall.

This replacement took a little bit of effort to get it on the rod (lubed it with lithium grease) and even more effort to get the plug into the firewall, but I eventually worked it into place.

The car is still being worked on but the clutch petal seemed to work fine. There is a small noise that comes from the item as you push the clutch in and out, but I'm sure you won't hear a thing once the engine is running.
