I am lucky to have sourced crack-free grills but after sifting through several sets that all show this issue I bought and installed these clips on my restored grills because I never want to work on them ever again.

Simple to install and a neat way to be sure the spring won't pull through the grille. After all the time I spent rebuilding my grille, I'd hate to have such a small - and internal - piece fail. Now I know it won't.

My 68 had bad tension spring perches on each of the low beam buckets. This job is frustrating enough without fighting a broken bucket, but these clips were a quick and easy fix. Highly recommended.
