Very nice Repro

Perfect repro. The factory left it up to the person on shift to figure out where to adhere the emblems, so this is one of the few points where we get to choose. If you are a perfectionist like me, go 1" up from the molding and 2 or 3" left from the trunk lid seam to quarter panel extension. Best way...get some painter's blue tape and block out where it eyeballs best to you!

The chrome finish isn't even close. They may look good in your hand but once installed and around the factory items (trunk lip moulding, reverse light trim) you can see how off the chrome is. Almost looks more gold then chrome. Very disappointed.

Looks really good , fit the contour perfectly!

For $40 I would expect a very good replica for such a simple casting.

That was not the case IMO. The "XR" is slightly taller then the "7" (but that might be by design) and the "7" was slightly bent and will probably have an issue laying flat on the trunk lid. There's no bending it back without snapping the casting. They feel beefy, and look ok, but come with no directions or placement advice.

In a word..."Disappointed"

This really adds a touch of class to the car. I really like original, but when it comes to bling? Had person stop and take a close up picture.

The pictures shows a lot of flashing. My set has none. They look great and have stick'em for easy install once install area is located. How long the stick'em lasts??

Looks great, but had to trim off a little bit of the adhesive foam backing as it was applied to the "XR" and "7" a little bit off and therefore in some spots went past the edge of the letters/number. Also, some of the black paint was slightly out of the lines so I had to carefully scrape off the excess paint to get it to look right. After that, it looks great installed!

Appreciate all the glowing reviews but.... I for one am not thrilled with this emblem. 

The black paint is too glossy and not applied very carefully, with pressure applied the metal bends and feels soft, the 3m tape is not die cut like factory and the edges look slightly muted "rounded" not crisp and sharp like original. 

I only review parts that I have used on my cars and feel need additional scrutiny.
