Flashes brightly & does make a clicking sound.

Both signal indicators flash when turning both Right & Left.

This is for the crazy dash indicator light system that some mad scientist at Ford designed. The system is genius...but hard to troubleshoot. My system has the 1157 plasma LED rear, 1157A LED front, the factory and the Cougars Unlimited solid state sequencer. I also have the LED dash lights.



With this setup the load across the K7 relay coil drops from factory of 8-10A to less than 2A. 2A is not enough to pull in the K7 coil...so your turn signal lights in the dash will not cycle with the factory K7 relay. My dash lights stayed on all the time! The solid state relay fixed this right out of the box. Mount it, plug it in, and it works. I love it when a part does what it should...right out of the box.

I had no flashers flashing on the dash, research lead me to buy the K7 relay. I had to move another relay to attach this one because it is about 1/4 inch wider than the original, but was not too much of a problem. Kind of tight area to work in, that is all. Once I got it installed, my flashers in the dash were working, with sound too. Even though they were working on the outside before I installed the new one, it would have drove me crazy not working on the inside. Great product

It took me a while to figure out what to move to make room for the relay. Instead of mounting it in the same orientation, I turned it 90 degrees and used a screw to attach it. Once installed, it works perfectly.

Indicators now working properly again.Nice unit.

You have to have this, the blinkers have never worked this good. I will put a blinker on even when I turn around in the drive way.

I was having an issue with my turns signals and this item fixed it and provides the sound additionally.

I last heard my turn signals Click in the late sixties. Today I heard it again, like music to my ears. It is good that this relay was finally perfected and made available.

Voltage drop is not an issue at all. The indicator lamps on the dash illuminate brightly and the clicker rhythm remains constant, the sound is plenty loud too. I highly recommend this to 67 owners.

An excellent replacement part. It does fit in the original location and plugs into the original wiring harness without modification. I did have to adjust the mounting tab so that the relay mounted flat in the original location. Its good to get that audible relay click and see that the instrument turn signal lights now turn off and on.
