I wanted a more uniform look than the crinkle, and these fit the bill. Since they are a clean-up of a crinkle set that had some type of blemish, they don't look like a fresh cast and polished piece of aluminum, and if you look closely at the pictures, that's the finish you will receive. I found that a light polish with a clean rag made the flat area behind the cat nice and even, and they really look great installed.
