I purchased these for my 1970 Torino. The Torino only has two taillight bulbs compared to the Cougar's six. I was skeptical if they would work properly without adding a resistor to the turn signal circuit so I called WCCC and spoke with Don. He assured me that they would be plug-n-play without adding a resistor, so I made the purchase. I'm happy to say Don was correct and they work great. They are MUCH brighter than the stock bulbs and they flash at the same rate (as my incandescent stock bulbs) with my turn signals or flashers on.

I installed all 6 LED's in the taillight assembly...bright and fine...but the sequential turn indicator doesn't work properly! Only the inner light is flashing! So I put in the original light bulbs and wait for a replacement of my "taillight sequential unit"...

What a differance to other led "s I have been using that do not work the 1157 properly most only work one set of led's the turn or the running lights, these babies work both as the incandesant bulbs work,,, but you can clearly see them in the day light with direct contact with the Sun thanks for providing a great product I have ordered more,, Norm
