A little tweeking and they worked great.
This is one of those projects that is so much fun its dumb. My old nozzles had been painted shut like most of the windows on my house. The new nozzles are a bit smaller where the hose attaches so the 45 year old hose might need to be replaced. Don't tell Don but regular old drip tube feed hose for irrigation systems fits perfectly. You'll need to heat the end connecting to your original fittings with a lighter, same as with regular irrigation projects, to get the new tube over the old fitting on your car. And now I can squirt my windshield again. I'm amazed the only thing wrong with the system was the nozzles.
With just a little tweeking, they work and fit great!
