    Locking pawl pin for your 70 - 79 tilt steering column for all Lincoln - Mercury - Ford products. This is an improved reproduction with cir-clips to prevent movement, avoiding damage to your locking pawl. These shafts are notorious for working their way out of place with normal use. Once the pin works its way out the locking pawl will not be aligned with the teeth and the cast part will break under pressure. Upgrading to this part can avoid several hundred dollars in damage. This precision part is made from drill bit blanks and will never fail. Lifetime warranty. You can find the two pin set which includes the pins for the catch and the locking pawl here.
