Both deluxe and standard used the same retractor in 1968 - 1969 and left is the same design as right. Grade "B" retractors will be 100% functional but cosmetically will show a crack in the plastic holster, and may have minor rust on chrome. These 1969 molded vinyl, single post head rests were never offered on a Cougar or Mustang to our knowledge but they make a great "go-around" for the very expensive 1968 dual post headrests. Finned aluminum Ford cast valve covers for any 1970-71 Ford or Mercury with 429CJ engine. Almost correct on 1971 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with N or C code 429CJ engines. D0OE-6583-A is the part number cast on both. These both have the same opening for the oil filler cap on both sides. Technically, for 1971, the passenger side cover would have a round hole for the PCV grommet and have a D1OE-6583-CA casting number.

Used early version short seat belt mounting bolt to mount the front retractor to the inner rocker panel and used in conjunction with a large washer.
