Product Condition Grades
Below is a general description of what the criteria is for our product condition grades. These are generalizations that are intended to give you an idea of the condition of the product at a quick glance. Because different parts degrade at different rates, there are variances in what the letters represent, please see the products description for details about the condition of any particular product.
A = Excellent / Above Average
B = Average / Some flaws / Good to Excellent Driver Quality
C = Obvious flaws / Poor to Average Driver Quality
D, E, F = Worse, Worser, Worsest
This is a rare find... This used 4 piece bracket set was taken from a June 17th built 1968 390 X code Cougar with factory dual exhaust. These are much cleaner used parts than you will see in other regions as they have never been exposed to road salt. We no longer sell them with the bolts and clamps, this is a sample photo of one of several sets we have in stock as of 10-12-07. The parts you receive may actually be in better condition except for the rubber parts which are often worse. The rubber used from the factory was side walls from old tires. This is why you occasionally will see a white one as wide white walls were often the tires to get recycled in the 1960's. This set is for use on all 1968 Cougars regardless of engine, built after 1-11-1967.
