Good used condition, hard to find with perfect chrome. Often times there will be some shrinkage in the rubber.  We cannot guarantee that we will always have the more obscure colors in stock like aqua. We seldom have black in stock, please specify the color you need in the comments and we will do our best to accommodate.

Nice reproduction that is "almost" spot on. Of the two versions available this one has much more definition. When you put an original next to this reproduction you will notice the original has a more raised, defined face on the Mercury Man.

Good used pit free emblem that would be good for restoration. Notice the clips are in place and there are no cracks in the plastic backing. The example picture of the installed emblem is what they looked like when restored. These mount on the lower part of the roof behind the quarter windows. This part of the roof is also known as the 'C' pillar.

Located on the right hand dash panel of your XR7, requires drilling to remove properly.

Good used plastic emblem with no peeling chrome. This was used on all models except XR7 on the right side. We also have the metal version of this emblem available.

Grade "A" pit free original metal emblem for your Eliminator or Standard model Cougar. If you look closely at our picture you will in fact see tiny imperfections in the chrome. We rarely ever get flawless examples of this particular emblem as the original plating was substandard (in our opinion). This emblem was used on the standard, decor and Eliminator models.

Decent reproduction of the 69-70 Cougar fender extension COUGAR script. This emblem was used for 2 years only and was located on the driver side front fender extension (fender cap). The originals came with speed nuts but these have push on clips from the back which means they are easier to install as no tools are needed. Used front fender extension "Cougar" script. The one you receive may not look as good as the one pictured but will be very close in condition, expect one of the four studs on the back to be missing. Good used center with minor cracking, missing paint or maybe even a broken mounting tab. This was used on all 1969 Cougars with a three spoke wheel except the XR7.

Very rarely do we find one like this example that shows no sign of fading. This is for the person who is trying to achieve a very high level of preservation / restoration.

Reproduction center emblem for the 69 Cougar rim blow steering wheel.

This small sized Cougar emblem (1 3/8" long) was used on 1969 - 1973 Cougars without AC. It was affixed to a block off plate in the very venter of the dash by two peened over die cast studs. It will glue back in place nicely and many Cougar fans have found fun "custom" applications for this attractive piece. This emblem will not be pitted or scratched in any way.

Since our restored emblems look so good we have a hard time selling NOS these days which works out just fine as we only seem to be able to obtain 1 of these every few years. Keep in mind your used cores have trade in value against this NOS part. These fuel door Mercury crest emblems are a close to original reproduction. They are an economical alternative to brighten up the looks of the rear of your 1969 - 1970 Cougar. This crest was used on all models except the 1970 Eliminator. To remove your emblem we suggest grinding down the studs on the backside.
