    Description

Reproduction set of Deluxe seat belts for the 68 - 69 Cougar or Mustang Coupe. Some things you may want to notice are that although these are made to fit both 68 and 69, the webbing is the 68 style. 1968 belts had four rows of material that make up the belt and 1969 belts had three rows (as seen in the picture above). Also, the rear belts will not have the plastic sheaths that keep the belts from falling in between the seats. These belts are premium quality and come complete with deluxe bezels, retractors, a double lap / shoulder belt and roof-side shoulder harness with bolt cover.

    Only available in black.

    Hardware not included.

    Question
    Asked:
Did the 68 cougar base model come with front lap belts or with the shoulder belts?
    May 25, 2022 10:08 AM
    Answer
    WCCC Admin Answered:
The answer is ....... both. Shoulder belts were federally mandated starting in 1968. So, the 68 Cougar had two separate belts, one for the lap and one for the shoulder, with two separate buckles.

Why am I being warned about potential exposure to chemicals in motor vehicle parts?

    • Some chemicals in motor vehicle parts are on the Proposition 65 list because they can cause cancer and/or birth defects or other reproductive harm.
    • When purchasing USED or NOS items, we do not know if listed chemicals are present in these products.
    • This product is known to contain the following listed chemicals:
