    Description

Perfect fit, easy to replace and will be a great upgrade over your original scratched and or pitted knob. To remove, reach behind the dash and locate the small, round spring loaded button on the top side of your headlight switch. Depress the button while firmly grasping the knob and move back and forth until it releases. To install, firmly and quickly press the knob inward (towards the dash) with the palm of your hand.

NOTE - This does not fit Mustang headlight switches

    Pros:
    • Easy%20install
    • Matches%20Well
    Cons:
The knob was one of the simplest replacements I've done in rebuilding the entire car from the ground up. After reassembling the interior of the car, the headlight knob kept coming off every time I used it. I thought there was some form of a "keeper" to keep the knob on the shaft ... but I wasn't going to assume how it was attached. So I ordered a new one. The instructions are simple, reach behind the dash and find the release button, pull out while depressing the button and ta da ... it's out. Reverse to install. Now I am not worried about using an epoxy to cement the original knob on the original shaft and then repeat the replacement process. The original had a pointer on the knob and this one didn't ... so I think I will go back to the original. But I am not sorry I bought it. There are other projects it can go to.

<p>I have enjoyed dealing with Don and his group for years and now that I own more cougars the need is greater than ever. I look forward to their videos and easier ways to assemble they have been most helpful. I can navigate there catalog...
