Used stamped steel pointer mounts to timing chain cover. Correct for 1970 Mercury Cougar with 351W engine, and 1970-72 Ford Mustang 302 and 351W. At least two distinct versions of this pointer may be availbable.
Starting in 1970, Ford V-8 engines had timing pointers installed on the passenger side of the engine, and a companion harmonic balancer with 4 bolts for attaching crank shaft pulleys. Uses two of the timing cover bolts for attaching.
