Used mounting bracket from a 1969-70 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with factory installed air conditioning. This is the tab that is riveted to the blower housing, the stud goes through the firewall. Driver side seat back release catch for the 68 - 70 Cougar or Mustang.

This is a very rare option for the 1969 - 1970 Mercury Cougar, Ford Mustang, and Shelby Mustang. It utilizes a center dash AC vent to blow fresh air into the cabin. The heater box is very similar to the standard heater box / plenum but has the vacuum switch and bracket mounted to the top. This original Ford service replacement hood scoop is the same as a factory installed scoop except that it does not have the embossements for the hood grille used on the very first Ram Air Cougars (prior to September 1968) and it has extra mounting stud receptacles for use on multiple applications such as the Comet GT and the Mercury Cyclone.
