Both our A and B quality bezels will need the overlay replaced. Cosmetically this bezel will be as good as our grade "A" units, but when you turn them over you will notice one or two of the feet will be broken off. You will not realize how yellowed your original is until you put it next to this new one. Correct for XR7 or standard 67-68 consoles. Note, these install much easier if you trim a small sliver off each of the four mounting tabs with a utility blade.

Good used base with no cracks. The Cougars equipped with air conditioning had the last few inches trimmed off. It is a rather rough, hand cut from the factory. This Grade B quality ashtray lid was located at the rear of the console and was used on all 1967 - 1968 Mercury Cougars except the 1967 standard model and the 1968 XR7G. This ashtray differs from other ashtrays you will see on various Ford products in that it has a brushed finish and a slightly taller lower section. Fits any model that used the banded Midland-Ross booster. This Bakelite hub can be seen when you remove the dust boot. It is a very brittle fragile part that gets broken when you drop the booster, attempt to bleed the brakes with the engine running or install the wrong brake pedal.

Used plug and wiring pigtail for the brake light warning switch located on the drum or disc brake distribution block mounted to the driver side fender apron. This is a plug and section of wire for repairing the underhood harness.
