Used cigar or cigarette lighter threaded retainer with ground lug. Fits any 1969 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with factory installed console. The ground lug is needed for the heating element in the socket. The consoles are made of plastic and use the common socket designed for steel dashes. Used original lower power steering hose mounting bracket for 289 / 302 / 351 1967-69. Comes as shown with rubber insulator. This used version has the indexing tab which the reproduction does not. Application could be for any 1967-69 Ford 289 / 302 /351W, but with only a single alternator belt. This is a copy of the Ford 7AA power steering pulley. This pulley mounted correctly on an OEM pump with factory brackets, will run on the second V-belt from the inside. The inner most fan belt runs the alternator. This gives the thumb release button in your T shaped shift handle its tension. If it is rusted then your button will not return back to its outer position easily. If your automatic floor shifter has play in it left to right then this is the culprit.
