A very common breaking point on the upper portion of the driver side inner, can now be easily repaired. If you have a '68 or '69 Cougar or Mustang, check the driver seat back attachment for the recall / campaign fix. There should be a heavy bracket secured by a bolt over the seat back attachment. There is a heavy pin on this bracket that forms the pivot for the seat back when positioned forward. This bracket carries a D7AA-69618C46-A or D7ZZ-69618C46-A service replacement part number.
