We have used these gaskets ourselves on our own Cougars with success, and know which ones fit correctly and which ones will stand the test of time. You may save a dollar or two buying elsewhere on some of these items but is it worth it? Ask the person selling the item if they personally have ever used the part. Replaces Ford part #D1ZZ-6542084. Installing the gasket yourself? you will be needing a glass bedding compound for a completely sealed installation.
