    C8ZZ-7400-A4Assemby 4 Speed manual transmission shift control assembly for any 1968 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang after 1-2-1968. Small block 289 and 302 engines only. Includes shifter mechanism, shift rods, and shift lever. Knob not included. All in used condition. The 1-2-1968 date was the transition of the stronger trunion for the shifter mounting. The Ford MPC states that this same shifter was used on 6 cylinder Mustangs and all V8 Mustangs and Cougars as large as the 302-4V engine.
