Perfect fit, great reproduction. These plastic discs are found on all 69-70 convertibles on the rear of both decor and xr7 interior levels. We are unclear as to all the "exact" applications on all years and models but one application we have verified is the fronts of 1971 - 73 Cougars equipped with standard interior. This is actually not correct for a 1968 but it is all that is available in reproduction. The 1968 front is actually the same 4 1/4" length as the rear. Many people prefer the longer version as it makes it easier to roll up. We do have good used 1968 front cranks for those who prefer to stay with original. We often will have B grade knobs with less than great chrome plating for lots less money. This handle is a good replacement for the window cranks found on the 1971 - 1972 Cougar both front and back. The originals were 4 1/4" total length and this replacement handle is 4 7/8" long. The important detail on these is the fact that the female portion that attaches to the splined window regulator protrudes from the back 5/16". These are correct for XR7 or standard 1967 models. Used handles are almost always pitted due to lack of use. These are different than the front in that they are held on with an Allen set screw and are shorter in length. Replaces Ford Part #: C5ZZ-6530322-A. *NOTE* We have no good used examples of these rear window cranks as they are very prone to pitting over the years.

Spare Tire Mount Wing Nut Reproduction for the 1968 through 1973 Mercury Cougar / Ford Mustang

For 1968 Ford standardized or changed all of the J-bolt threads to the beefier 1/2"-13. We have noted two variations of this wing nut. The most obvious identifier between the two is the tabs in the center. The majority have these tabs present, the minority do not. We also stock and carry the correct disc or hold down plate, and the J bolt. Lots of sizes and lengths for those. Do you have the correct one?

These barrel nuts or clips are exactly like the original ones inserted into the trunk for attaching 1967-68 "Mercury" script, and 1971-72 Mercury Cougar "Mercury" Hood scripts. The manufacturer indicates that these tubular nuts fit 1/8" holes. Pin size on those emblems are 3/32". These clips are also used to attach the 1967 quarter panel emblems. Good used tray that is not currently reproduced. Most people prefer the group 24 battery but for those that want to keep it very original, this is getting to be a hard to find part with no rot (will show pitting). Many that are not rotted have been cut to accept a group 24.

Polished billet aluminum hood hinges that replace the factory hood hinges and springs with a hydraulic strut hinge.  Comes with medium duty struts for fiberglass hoods or heavy duty struts for factory / repro steel hoods.  Mounts using the same holes as the factory hood hinges with the included mounting hardware.

This is the rubber that goes into the bracket of the bottom of the center of the door, for 1970 bolt-in door glass.  Note that this bumper is substantially taller than the 69 version. See C9ZZ-6521762-A for the 1969 glued-in door glass version. If you are swapping out a door on a 69 or a 70 don't forget that the door glass is different between the years and, if you have to swap out the glass, you will need to make sure you have the correct version of this part for the type of glass...

This clip looks just like the smaller rear deck / trunk lid moulding clip but is larger (as our comparison picture shows). One clip per side is used to attach the tail end (larger end) of the moulding to the extension. Rarely will the clip you get look as good as the pictured here, usually the "finger" will be missing.
