1968 XR7 and standard Cougars use the same rear wiring harness to the taillights. This is a grade "A" premium grade harness that is not sun damaged, spliced, or damaged in anyway. XR7 and Standard Cougars use the same rear wiring harness to the taillights, only the sub-harness that connects to it that runs along the underside of the package tray and down to the fuel sending unit differs XR7 vs. Standard. The major difference is that the xr7 utilizes a two wire plug and the Standard Cougar uses a single wire. Harness begins behind driver door hinge pillar, under the sill plate to the trunk. Has individual wires to all tail lights and license plate lights, but not the 1157 taillight bulb sockets which are sold separately here. This does not include the sub-harness that connects to it from the passenger side, that runs along the underside of the package tray and down to the fuel sending unit differs XR7 vs. standard. Does not include turn signal motor parts.
Ford part # C8WB-13A449-A.
*NOTE* Will not work on 1967 Cougars.
