    Description

This is a set of four die cast mouldings that attach via speed nuts at the bottom of your vinyl top. These do not pry off! Use your 1/4" drive ratchet with a deep 11/32" socket and small extension. You must remove your rear interior side panels to access the side mouldings. New speed nuts included, just in case..

    Ford casting numbers:

    Right rear: C7WB-65423A20-AW
    Left rear: C7WB-65423A21-AW
    Right side: C7WB-65423A22-AW
    Left side: C7WB-65423A23-AW

*NOTE* These mouldings were color coded to your white or black vinyl top. On two tone painted cars this same moulding was used but was often times (but not always) chrome plated.

WCCC is a buyer of used and NOS hard to find 67-73 Mercury Cougar parts. Usually we give an in store credit of 50% of our web price for parts delivered in hand or by carrier to our Brooks, Oregon location. If you're not interested in store credit, just shoot us an email and we will let you know if it's is something we can pay cash for. We do not send cash for parts in advance but we often can compensate you within hours of receiving the goods.

Sometimes a 50% wholesale bid will not be enough to entice you to sell. It never hurts to ask if we can up our bid! If it is an in demand item that we have requests for we often can pay more. Just email us if you have questions or want to share pictures.

Aloha guys, can you provide any kind of insight for me on installing vinyl top on non vinyl top car? Hole placement for this trim etc.?

    Answer
    WCCC Admin Answered:

The only video that we have that shows anything to do with the vinyl top is our Rusty Roof Replacement video:

In this video Andrew goes over some of how the vinyl roof is supposed to be installed, but Andrew is focused on replacing the roof, so he does not spend a lot of time on talking about the vinyl roof.

Beyond that we would recommend starting a tread over at ClassicCougarCommunity.com and getting some advice from other guys that have replaced a vinyl top.

Adding vinyl top to my non vinyl top cougar. Needed these, here they are.

Really would like some help figuring out where to drill holes in the body for these. I would suggest taking a set, cutting off the studs, drilling holes where the studs, so you are able to lay these flat on the body to place holes correctly. You could use that set as a loaner set for this purpose and have it around for a template.

Looking forward to putting new top on my cougar after its painted.
