Miniature light bulb for any 1967-68 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with the door ajar feature. Original equipment GE 256 light bulb. This is a flashing light bulb. It has a metal strip that heats up and breaks contact for a flashing effect. Starts out with the bulb on, and eventually starts flashing over a period of a few seconds.

Ford called this part a 'sleeve'. Attaches to the lower shifter arm with a hitch pin. Has nice bushing, with correct nut, washer, and pin. The 1967/68 and 1969/73 versions are identical. C5ZZ-7610962-A Ford description of this plate is "Plate - Front floor lower cross member". All 1967-73 Cougar convertibles and all 1965-73 Ford Mustang convertibles use this plate. Bolts into place with 6 hex bolts 3/8-16 x 1-1/8" with washers. These were painted satin black from the factory. As you look at our picture below you will see the repro is about half the thickness. The repro is different in every detail but will work. We also have used plates with minor damage at a reduced cost.

These are about half the weight of originals and do not look correct in any way. They are far better than nothing.
