This is the speedometer cable clip that connects to the firewall and transmission tunnel. Replaces Ford Part # : 373829

Used clip for mounting the vacuum modulator steel line or tube on 1967-68 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with C4 or automatic transmission. Mounts under one of the top bolts where the bell housing connects to the engine block. This is not a reproduced part, that we know of.  The basic Ford part number is 7C072.

(7521) Correct contour insures a good fit, 12 1/2" long. This is for both 3 and 4 speed cars. Check out the comparison picture with the off-shore crapola rod sold by most vendors. Reproduction aluminum shift indicator console overlay for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Although a brushed finish is correct, this reproduction has a coarser brush stroke when compared to the originals and is a bit dull.  We recommend a quick polish to make them look closer to the finish of the originals.
