International Customers

Due to some ongoing challenges with the software we use to generate customs data and print shipping labels for international orders,
orders may take upto 7 days before we are able to generate the shipping label. If the order has USED item or items that need to be shipped from the supplier to us, it can take significantly longer.

Also be aware that even though we ship items with the proper documentation to show that duties and taxes are prepaid, some Postal Services are ignoring this and still charging these fees at delivery. If this occurs to you, please send us a copy of the receipt showing the tracking number with the fees paid and we can get the Duties/Taxes we charged to you refunded.

UK Customers / EU Customers

We are using a new shipping service where international shipments now include the Duties/Tax/Fees, so currently we can not offer USPS/Mail Innovations if the order is over 135GBP/150EUR, since USPS can not pay duties/taxes. If the order is less than 135GBP/150EUR, we can pay the taxes directly to the EU/UK and we can ship USPS/Mail Innovations*. All orders over 135GBP/150EUR have to ship UPS/DHL so we can use DDP to cover the Duties/Tax/Fees. This has allowed us to resume shipments of any value to the UK and EU.

TIP: You will likely be able to ship your order for less cost if you ship any items over 135GBP/150EUR on one order via UPS, then break the rest of the order up into orders of less than 135GBP/150EUR.

By breaking your orders up into less than 135GBP/150EUR:

you will avoid the import duties on those orders
less expensive shipping methods are available
you will avoid some UPS fees

Canadian Customers

We have worked with UPS to waive some of the brokerage fees. The rates shown now include all UPS fees. We have also added DHL, which offers lower cross boarder fees.

Our shipping provider has added Duties Prepaid options for US Postal Service options to Canada. This has allowed us to resume USPS shipments to Canada.

However, beware that this is a new process for the Post Office, so sometimes Canada Post shows the duties and taxes COD, when they are actually prepaid. If this happens, first inform Canada Post that the shipment was sent duties prepaid (DDP). If they still require you to pay the duties before delivery, please contact us.

Turkey Customers

The international shipping software we use requires that we pre-collect and pre-pay the duties and taxes. Because of recent changes to Turkey import laws, Turkey no longer supports this. Because of this you will need to use a shipping broker for us to ship items to you.

US Postal Service (USPS)

Our new international shipping system supports international shipments via USPS only if the order total (including shipping to most countries) is below the Duty/Tax De Minimis for your country (View De Minimis Chart).
Exceptions:
UK orders upto 135GBP
EU orders upto 150EUR

The US Postal Service (USPS) has suspended services to over a dozen countries (see complete list).
UPS Worldwide Services \ DHL Worldwide can still be delivered to these locations.

Description

1973 Complete, solid Mercury Cougar / Mustang tilt column with no missing or cracked parts. Rebuilt with the inclusion of a fixed lower shaft which eliminates the need for the hard to find (and expensive) tilt rag joint. No change to the installation, or function, and will be in stock more often than our full priced 1973 tilt column.

Although they may look much alike, each year 1970 - 1973 is unique. Every column we sell has been disassembled and reconditioned by our full time in house tilt column specialist. If you do not currently have a tilt column do know you will get every part needed to make the conversion.

*NOTE* For tilt column service, you can contact Tony Augustine at 6t8cougarguy@gmail.com or 816-210-4779. Tony is a trusted colleague of WCCC and we've sent many customers his way since our column specialist retired last year.

WCCC no longer has an in-house service for tilt and tilt-tilt away steering columns 1967-1979.

After several years of working exclusively with Tony Augustine in MO, we can highly recommend him as one of the most knowledgeable builders of these unique columns in the world.

We now exclusively send all of the columns we sell as rebuilt to Tony for service.
