This oddball sequential unit was only used from 2/1/1971 to 5/15/1971 and will be of no interest except for to select few. The differentiating factor is the hard plastic connectors. Used grade "B" bezel used on the passenger side door and both rear seat switches. Some pits or obvious scratches, Ford engineering number as seen from the back is C9AB-14A432-D.

Compare your switch to these to insure you have the right configuration. Ford engineering number imprinted on the side is C9AB-14529-B.

If your original is pitted or has come apart this will be a clean, crack free used replacement that will easily snap in place. We have a reproduction, but the finish is rougher, as shown in the comparison photo. There were originally two versions of this switch: the one shown with both round contact points in plastic, and another which had one in metal.

Chrome Cover only for those who have a functioning switch and have lost the chrome face. Will require gluing in place. This is the factory Ford remote trunk latch as used on luxury cars such as Thunderbird or Lincoln. As you can see from the photo, they are made (and install) exactly like our Cougar trunk latches, but with the addition of a release tab. Here is our used hood lip moulding / trim 3 piece set in grade "B" condition for your Mercury Cougar. These are tough little units to find in NOS form or grade "A" condition. Nice reproduction D0OZ-17C583-A windshield wiper stop as found on any 1971-73 Mercury Cougar, 1971-73 Ford Mustang, 1970-71 Ford Torino, or 1970-71 Mercury Cyclone. Factory original Carter fuel pump that was taken from a low mile 427 GTE in 1997. The "X" pump was used only on the Boss 302, 427, 428 and 429 Cobra Jet, and Super Cobra Jet.

This "D" clip is larger than that found on the Mustangs and 1967 Cougar because it not only hung the wiring loom on the driver side of your engine compartment but also the vacuum lines going to the headlight switch. This clip is also found under the starter solenoid and under dash.
