This is the 1.37" X 1.66 X .31 plastic grommet that goes inside the trunk to protect the trunk wires from rubbing the edges of the sheet metal body. This grommet was also used for the hood light wiring under the hood.

D0AF-9E718-C Distributor modulator control module for 1970 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with the M code 351C-4V engines and FMX or automatic transmission. The 'black box', supposed to have a blue cover, The Autolite Shop Tips guide describes this box as having a blue cover and a stamped part number of D0AF-9E718-S. The Ford MPC shows a master part number of D0AZ-9E718-C, and a box marked D0AF-9E718-C.

Used distributor modulator thermal switch for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang equipped with the M code 351C-4V engine and FMX automatic transmission. Originally this switch was mounted in the drivers side door jamb and had a bimetal strip that was calibrated for ambient temperatures between 50 and 58°F. We dont have a way to test these, so they are sold as is. Ford part # D0AF-12A164-B.

This windshield wiper delay governor mounts to the driver side firewall. To find where this mounts on the firewall, look for two dimples. Wiring is simple, unplug the windshield wiper harness and plug the male and female ends into the appropriate plugs on the controller. Air cleaner pre-heater paper hose. Should fit most applications from 1970-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with V8 engines. 2 inch inside diameter, we cut these to about 9 inches long. Correct black paper outside, flexible paper tube, kind of like a Slinky. Please verify your needed length, we leave them a bit longer than needed so that they fit more than one application.

Grade B exhaust manifold heat shield for any 1970 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with 351C engine, 2V or 4V, it doesn't matter. Uses a separate, small diameter metal tube (part number D0OZ-9652-A) that attaches to the 1970 Cleveland air cleaner snorkel. Grade B used will have minor pitting, and may have small holes and or rough rusted edges. When mounted it would be difficult to see the defects. C9ZB-7653139-A is the part number for the drivers side, C9ZB-7653138-A for the passenger side. These will often break when one hydraulic lift cylinder malfunctions and the other is still working. This scenario will put the top frame in a bind causing one of these cast parts to break. We carefully inspect these before shipment for cracks, worn areas or corrosion.

This 1965 Mustang alignment pin is not correct for the 1969 to 1973 Cougar but it will work. See the image to the left to see the comparison to an original 69 pin.

Used to cushion and protect top vinyl from excessive wear from side rails. Unfortunately none of the reproductions that we have found resemble the OEM pads.
