Makes the stance of my 1970 XR7 look just right.

I thought I would demonstrate how accurate the description is on these springs. They do in fact lower the front end and work perfectly. Yes, you do have to use the correct tools and procedures to remove the old and install the new without risking injury to yourself. I installed along with the new perches, etc. Installed standard shocks purchased from WCCC. The first picture is before front spring install and with the original sagging rear leaf springs. The second picture is after install of the front 1" drop springs with sagging rear leaf springs. The third picture is after install of the WCCC standard rear leaf springs and WCCC standard rear shocks. It gave me the perfect gain of rear rake I was looking for. If you do not want this rake stick with new standard front springs. The ride on this car is perfect.

We measured an 1/8 inch drop at the front of our Cougar (67, 289, 3 Speed, AC car) but no where near 1" as advertised.

However a much improved ride thanks to these and the new scott drake spring perches over the the 55 year old setup.

Would still recommend.

WCCC Response:

The 1" drop is not from where your car sits with worn out springs, but from where it would sit with new factory height springs.

These are about 2” shorter than my original springs that I cut one coil off of. They lower the car approximately 1” as advertised and are stiffer than the originals. I absolutely LOVE these springs!!! They fixed my excess sway in the front that was most noticeable when entering the highway in a rather spirited manner. They don’t feel harsh or too firm at all and the feel of my ride is just less squishy feeling overall. Again, these are freaking AWESOME! (They fit perfectly too)

Purchased a new set to replace my original worn out originals. These performance coils looked good. I used a set of coil spring insulators that I never used on my Mustang for this application. They were 1inch thick and gave me the perfect ride height up front. With standard insulators I think it might be to low. Happy with my purchase.

Installed a few weeks after received. Upon completion you could actually see the difference from stock to the 1 inch drop in front. Car looks great with the drop, also to my surprise smooth ride and nice road handing. To add to the job, the complete front (parts) suspensions were replaced at same time.

To add to my privies review: the 1 in coil springs were installed on a 1967 Mustang with factory A/C, 390 CU/ IN, P/S, C6 Trans

I placed these on my 1967 cat. I have not driven it yet (doing a ground up restoration) but they went on well and look great! I like the lowering effect.

Love how these look, got a full 1" drop in the front and pair great with the performance leaf springs added prior. Definitely love the stance now with that setup and overall drive with the KYB shocks.
